Treat every day as Father's Day in 2022

Who do we look up to in our childhood, figuratively and literally? Before teachers, community leaders, and other role models came into our lives, it was dad. He’s the one who says yes when mom says no. The one who you watch stand up for others in need. The one who pushes you out of your comfort zone and becomes the best version of yourself.

  • Fatherhood is often condensed into a single image. Maybe it’s a father and son tossing a baseball in the backyard. Maybe it’s a father and daughter working on a handicraft. However, everyone knows that your dad, or whoever holds that role of a father figure in your life, means so much more than any singular moment.

"After 250 hours of research and testing, including interviewing five baby wearing experts and walking over 100 miles in 15 wraps, slings, and meh dais, we think that the Gemlak Baby Carriers is the best"

What Dad Means to Us

Fathers impart wisdom, share hobbies, and pick us up when we fall. Most importantly, fathers are there for you through thick and thin. Father's Day is fast approaching and it’s the perfect opportunity to reach out to your pop and let him know just how much he means to you.

It’s all about embodying one core message: love. However, love is different for everyone and it can come in so many forms and phrases. You can say love without saying L-O-V-E. Just choose a special message that you know will resonate between the two of you. Maybe it's a self-created joke, maybe it's a heartfelt thank-you, maybe it's just a box of homemade cookies. Your messages will let him know how you’ve grown into a great son or daughter because of his positive influence on you.

How to spend Father's Day

  1. There’s one more thing you can do to create unique memories with your dad - get him a practical and thoughtful present! A nice inflatable movie screen would be a good choice. You can place it in the backyard to build an outdoor home theater. You can watch films, TV shows, sports games with your dad together over cool beers. It would be the memory of a lifetime when you lying on the grass, with the stars shining overhead.
  2. Backyard movie nights in summer would be a great way to show your love for your dad. Other than a screen, you also need some additional equipment to host a memorable outdoor movie night. For example, you need sound to go with your projector screen. A basic soundbar is relatively easy to move out and hook up to a projector if it is compatible.
  3. Okay, all the important technical elements are ready to go! Now it is time to start thinking about people. Pick a place for everyone to sit: smaller gatherings can make do with a few blankets, but larger groups may require folding chairs to make enough room. Foldable seat chair can be a good solution. It can be compacted into a backpack to easily carried around. With a high-density thickened sponge pad, you can sit on it comfortably while enjoying your movie. It is so convenient for any events, which can stay dry and cool in light rain and snow days.

Final prep for your movie night: get some snacks and drinks! Try to use bowls and cups when possible to avoid making a mess, and focus on foods that are rather easy to eat without getting your hands too dirty or requiring a lot of glass utensils. Also, bugs happen, especially mosquitoes, so you need to be prepared.

It is just the best way to spend a summer night and a much-needed escape from our busy life. Dad will absolutely love this! We should treat each day like Father’s Day for love transcends space and time.
